Just wondering in our TV age what people think is the worst sitcom they've ever seen. I've got one picked out, but want to hear some input first.
A few notes:
Does not have to have been a hit or long-lasting show. Could have lasted one or two episodes. Just name the show and say why you thought it was so bad.
One request: Don't pick a revered comedy as the worst just because most people love it and you think it sucks, and you name it "worst" because you're trying to make a point. This...
So happy that one of the best shows on TV is back!
Excellent start to the seaon IMO. I burst out laughing when Pete walked into the restaurant. He truly started over out in the west coast. This is the happiest I've seen him in about 2-3 seasons.
So Don didn't tell Megan he was put on leave? Dont think this bi-coastal marriage will last. Marriage can be hard work sometimes; being 3000 miles apart doesnt make it any easier.
Interesting Don is helping Freddy. Maybe that's how he not only...
Please carry on. Thanks. :)
So excited for this.
I'm getting a catchers mitt for my 9 year old and wanted to see if there were any recommendations anyone had, specifically with what size you would get. Would you go 31 inch or 32 inch?
Yeah, nuttin' fer the other areas. :P
Anywayz ... something like a food-tasting, food festival or anything similar, mostly in Manhattan (aka, The City). :)
Anywayz ... here goes the first offering in this thread:
I was watching the ceremonies this AM at Arlington National Cemetary honoring our fallen heroes and all the servicemen. I was especially moved by President Obama's speech it was appropriate and extremely moving. Toward the end you could see how moved he was by the occasion. He tried to keep it in but he almost lost it. Can you imagine the pressure on a President who gets to send our servicemen into harms way? It makes me wonder if the candidates for Presidency really think about the office...
I just wish to express my sincere thank you to the one, the only, self-deprecating true New Yorker, comedian and late night host, David Letterman, whose over 30-year run ends tonight.
Please share your Top 10 reasons for loving the man. :)
A very sad passing, and one that seemed to be quickly arriving, giving the way his health was going. A very sad day in the world of American music when one of the great ones (the unquestioned King of the Blues), who also has a live performance place on Times Square (on the Deuce), has finally left us.
Blues legend B.B. King dies at age 89 in Las Vegas
R-I-P :( :( :(
So the forum had some kind a problem for the better part of the last 2 days.
Any word of what the problem was?
Do you think SNY could put a little blurb on the main page (that was being updated with news regularly), stating there was a problem that was being worked on?
Asking this question for a friend
She is looking to go to one of the CUNY community colleges in NYC and is from another state. She would be studying an associates degree in business.
So a few questions, I obviously understand NYC is a very competitive market for employment but how likely are you to find work in NYC with a associates degree. I don't mean work that most can get with just a high school GED ..fast food, retail etc.
So does holding an associates degree hold any value when...
I figure enough of us are watching and will continue to post and spoil so lets do it here. So we can discuss freely.
I for one am very happy with it so far. It has a long way to go to live up to what it represents, but it's looking to be a fun ride.
Did a search, can't find a thread.
New teaser out today.
Would like some insight to how folks feel after today. I was appalled by Mike Gallagher(conservative talk show host} who seems to think if more Americans were allowed to carry weapons in public places these these nut-jobs would have a second thought carrying out these acts of violence in public...........I could only imagine a shoot-out in the cinema massacre............
Nice little time waster.
I have a feeling that this show may be a gem. Being in the BB universe, we already know Mike Ermentrout will be a regular. Walt and Jessie by season two I hear. I expect Gus as well. And just having VG at the helm gives me hope it will be written just as well.
I wanted to be able to discuss without worrying about spoilers. I figure enough of us will be watching.
What (or who) did you think was better?
Category 1 - Steak
Category 2 - Cary Grant
Category 3 - Costco
A year later and we have the new Comic-con trailer. Really fantastic stuff, including a certain character confirmed to be alive.
