Next Wednesday I will undergo six hours of tests and interviews to determine my viability to be placed on the kidney transplant list. To say this is one of the most important days of my life is an understatement. Not getting on it means I continue on dialysis as long as it works and then that is it as they say. My doctor believes that I will get on as all my numbers are where they should be (for someone with kidney failure). Today I found out two of the pre-tests were waived! Either way I won't...
I have always loved dogs, but never owned one of my own - my mother hates dogs. Before I got married, one of my roommates had an awesome bulldog. I don't think owning a dog is practical for us, because we both work long hours and won't be able to give a dog any attention during the day time(plus, walking it at 7am in the dead of winter is a drag). I started looking into cats, and even went to a breeder the other night to see an adorable kitten (Scottish Fold). Any cat owners here? Are they low...
