Can we please get a forward thinking GM instead of someone who keeps signing these old guys who break down over the coarse of a long season. We might sniff the wild card if we're lucky.
Do you think this record is achievable? Looking at the schedule, the Yanks have more home games left than anyone else in MLB (40). Let's just consider the possibility of turning things around and regain their home field advantage. Can they go 28-12 at home? Can they play slightly better than .500 on the road (15-13)? Will 90 wins get them into the playoffs?

Finally, time to play for real!
To play 2nd base...

2003-2004 is up there too
Remember the good old days. When this organization had balls. They played in a stadium built for actual home field advantage. The ownership wanted nothing more than to win.... At all costs. I miss that.
What are some of the moves you want to see this winter? I'm hoping we pick up Lester and/or Scherzer first and foremost but I also think adding a right fielder with power is crucial. Nelson Cruz? We will also have a middle of the infield to put together, I have a feeling we sign JJ Hardy and see how Refsnyder does at 2nd in Spring Training.
