Since the off-season is over I thought it time to move over to the 2015 season thread.
The trade deadline is past and the pennant race is in full swing. At the start of August, the Yankees hold a 6-game lead in the AL East (6 games up in the loss column over Baltimore, 7 over Toronto).
Time to start obsessing about the scoreboard as we head toward the stretch run!
According to the stats on baseball-reference.com, the Yankees are closing in 10,000 all-time wins, currently with 9978. If they go on a 22 game winning streak, no. 10,000 will occur on July 3 in Minnesota, barring any postponements.
Anyone care to guess when no. 10,000 will actually happen? I'm guessing Sunday, July 27 vs. Toronto.
TH: Yankees pitchers (CC/Warren/Betances)

Postseason Wildcard spot and the franchises 10,000th win!!!!!!!!!!
His favorite teams are the Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers, and Duke LMAO.
Will the Yankees shell out the $400 million or whatever to get him in the Bronx?
I didn't think I would get excited, but alas I lied to myself. Haven't made the postseason in 2 years which feels like a lifetime. Happy for the team. Maybe we can ride this momentum.
So who do we want to face Tuesday? Twins seem out of it
This will give them a 92-70 record overall.
40 games at home. Can they go 25-15? They were 25-16 in the first half
34 games on the road. Can they go 19-15? They were 23-24 in the first half
I think these numbers are very do-able.
1-0 with 73 games left
A-Rod, Chris Young, Betances and Miller pick up right where they left off. Honorable mention goes to Tanaka & McCann with a clutch RBI.
I gasped at reading the alert from the MLB At Bat app.
Yogi, arguably the Greatest Living Former Yankee and an American hero, has passed away at age 90.
The New York Yankees have lost an icon. Rest in peace, Yogi. Thank you for everything.
