  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: Please Use Descriptive Thread Titles

Please show some courtesy to your fellow fans and use descriptive thread titles in this sub-forum and in all other areas of this forum so everyone knows exactly what's being discussed in a particular thread. A thread titled "Joe Torre" for example could be about anything - please specify exactly what you want to discuss in the thread you're starting such as "Will Joe Torre Ever Come Back to the Yankees?". Not everyone has a lot of time on the forum to go in and out of every single thread so...

  1. 2015 Offseason moves

What are some of the moves you want to see this winter? I'm hoping we pick up Lester and/or Scherzer first and foremost but I also think adding a right fielder with power is crucial. Nelson Cruz? We will also have a middle of the infield to put together, I have a feeling we sign JJ Hardy and see how Refsnyder does at 2nd in Spring Training. potential lineup Gardner Hardy Ellesbury Cruz Tex Arod

  2. How To Build A Contending Yankee Team In 2015?

Just read this over at RAB, it's very interesting IMO: http://riveraveblues.com/2014/10/thoughts-end-2014-world-series-109971/ " I enjoyed watching the Giants win again because they go against so many baseball axioms. Need youth to win in today’s MLB? The Giants had literally the oldest roster in MLB. Need a strong rotation? The Giants had one good great starter in Bumgarner. Their non-Bumgarner starters had a 4.23 ERA during the regular season (in that ballpark!) and a 5.59 ERA in the...

  3. Alex Rios vs. Carlos Beltran in RF

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/10/free-agent-profile-alex-rios.html Here's the question: Does Beltran have more value/appeal than Rios to another team? I think his track record, leadership qualities, experience playing in big baseball markets, and being a switch-hitter makes him more desirable for the next two years than Alex Rios. I've been thinking about this since the end of the season. I'm trying to find out whether Beltran has a NTC in his contract - if not, I believe there's...

  5. Yankees News & Notes: Offseason 2014-15

Some coaching staff news: The Yankees reached out to Eric Hinske to see if he had interest in their hitting coach job, but he said no. Hinske was the Cubs first base coach last year and he will be their assistant hitting coach next year. If nothing else, the interest in Hinske shows the Yankees are not prioritizing experience. With Maddon gone, the Yankees could show interest in Rays hitting coach Derek Shelton for their hitting coach position. He managed in the team's farm system...
