It's absolutely beautiful here in New Jersey today -- currently sunny and 74 degrees, getting up to 85 later on...a gorgeous spring day!!! :) I wish I had time to shoot to the beach, but I'm going to take a book outside and read for awhile before I get my hair cut later this afternoon...the hair cut is long overdue and hard to get an appointment, or I would reschedule!! Not sure what the weather is like by you today, but if it was a beautiful day, and you could play hooky from work, school...

Have you seen Yahoo's Game Channel? It's a great way to follow a ball game if you can't get a TV or radio broadcast. Go to - http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb On the left side of the page they list the games. Just click on the one you want to follow and a Java Applet Window will open with a screen that updates each pitch. It looks like a Nintendo game. There are tabs for details on the Matchup, Log, Lineup, Box Score, and Scoreboard for other games. Very cool!

I'm sure many of you have already seen this Columbus Clippers advertisement before, but I stumbled across this today and found it funny...I think it would be really fun to do this with a group of friends, although I'm not sure how much of the game I would actually get to see...it's also cheap -- $100 for up to 8 people sounds reasonable to me...I guess they will try anything to get people to come out to the minor league parks... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=nyy Hottest...

I just got them developed! I'm so happy with the way they came out. Here's me, Brian, and Emily at some stone quarries in Siracusa in Sicily. It's not certain what the name of this temple is, but some people say it's the Temple of Hera. It's in Selununte, Sicily. We walked here from our hotel.

HBO was handing these out on 42nd Street and I got a handful. They're very nice 9-1/2" x 12" booklets on glossy paper. The front page is a color 61* promo picture (like the posters they have all over). Inside is "Billy Crystal on the Summer of '61" on one page; the facing page has repros of questionnaires from The Sporting News filled in by Mantle and Maris. As some of you know today was a big day for me. I took the NYS Exam. It consisted of the following: 1. Practice 1 man CPR for 2 minutes. 2. Swim 200 yards within 3:30 minutes 3. Swim underwater 20 yards surface at the other end of pool then dive back down and recover a 10 pound brick 4. Finally, Swim 50 yards within 75 seconds with a 10 pound brick on your hip. Here are my times 1. Performed CPr perfect.
