I wrote just before the season started that the New York Yankees opened with a killer schedule for the month of April. With a dearth of off days and tough competition (the Twins notwithstanding), I opined that it would be a good run and put the Yankees in good shape to survive the month just over .500. Half way through the gauntlet, so far so good. It all seems a bit of roller-coaster ride thus far. Three losses to the Rays, three wins against the Orioles and a mixed bag after that. The starting rotation has been somewhat of a mess, something we did not expect. But otherwise, the Yankees are in good shape. Letís take a look at where the Yankees are to this point.
