All right, Iíll just go ahead and admit it: I hate the All-Star break. Not the game itself, which is still a fun little diversion from the grind of a six month long regular season. Not the Home Run Derby either, even though I find it to be pretty boring, as I recognize that Iím not exactly the target audience for that event. And I actually really enjoy the Futureís Game, even if I wish theyíd move it to Wednesday when thereís nothing else going on rather than putting it up against real baseball games on the Sunday before the break.

No, what I canít stand is the dog and pony show that we engage in every year leading up to this half-week break in meaningful games.

C.C. Sabathia is slated to return from the disabled list soon after the All-Star game this coming Tuesday, but that doesnít mean that you should expect to see him immediately following the break. Instead, Sabathia will return at the back end of the teamís first turn through the rotation, according to Brian Cashman. He would be slated to start in the Yankees second series of the second half, against the Toronto Blue Jays. That would give Sabathia 3-4 more days to heal his strained groin, while allowing the Yankees to continue to carry 14 position players for a few extra days as well.

Using Adam Sandler as a reference as to why Rock's not a racist isn't your best play considering his recent Netflix-exclusive movie mocking Native Americans

I'm really cool with losing Jones, I just don't think it's smart to carry 5 OFs and no backup 1B.
