Dennis Miller - All In (Too Political For His Own Good?)

Anyone catch his HBO special last night? It was strange, to say the least. I know he's made something of a name for himself the last few years becoming a "rightwing" comedian, but the entire last half of the hour was awful. The only slack I'll cut him is that some of his lines were at least funny, and he doesn't seem to take himself nearly as seriously as other comics-turned-political nutjobs like Margaret Cho or Jeanine Garafalo. He also attempted to weld his beliefs into actual material rather than just ranting, so at least he had that going for him.

Anyway, it was a little disheartening as I used to be a really big Miller fan (check out his first HBO special - Dennis Miller Black and White - f*cking hysterical).

Thanks for the head's up. I missed it - maybe it will be re-broadcast. I like Dennis Miller - I admire him for coming out as a rightwinger - it took a lot of courage. I'm sure it didnt help his popularity.
