Lohan, Moss' pole dance at topless bar

azcentral.com
Jan. 12, 2006 8:55 AM

New B.F.F.'s Lindsay Lohan and Kate Moss shook things up at New York's Scores strip club in the wee hours of yesterday morning putting on a bump-and-grind pole-dancing session for the club's 400 shocked patrons, reports the New York Post's gossip column 'Page Six.'

Lohan, Moss and a few of their female friends descended upon the topless club just before 3:00 a.m. and went directly into the club's famous Champagne Room, where the group downed a number of vodka shots, raspberry Kamikazes and beer and were treated to plenty of lapdances from the strippers that surrounded their table.

"Kate was going wild," a witness told 'Page Six.' "After a few songs, Lindsay jumped on stage with her. They were swinging on the pole with their arms around each other's waists, kissing each other, caressing each other, just acting like strippers. The crowd was cheering them on the whole time. They didn't take off any clothes, but it was very hot."

The club/bar owners want their names in the paper and they want more business and what says "Come to my club" better than Paris Hilton having been there? What they did was illegal, but who turns down a Hilton?

So long as she hangs with Kate Moss, a celebrated cokehead, I'm not too sure. I was looking at some ad for Kate, and this was for A-List advertiser *CHANEL* of all people, and she looked like she was on some post-drug thing. I think it was in Harper's Bazaar, Elle or similar mag I'd seen in some car service.

I wouldn't doubt that Paris Hliton also stays super-skinny w/the help of nose candy also, but if it sucks the body fat away--and Kate Moss certainly got her name by being the "waif"--then I'm all against it. It's amazing what these young women are doing to their just to lose that extra 10-15 lbs.

The problem I have with Kate Moss originated around 1990 or thereabouts, when she became some star "It" model for Calvin Klein jeans. They needed a small female, since the former rapper Marky Mark, brother of one of the New Kids on the Block boy singing group, was only about 5'10" but muscular.

She's about 5'6" or 5'7" at most. I think she's got a very interesting face re bone structure, but that's just me. Anyway, she's very tiny. There hasn't been a "waif" megamodel since "Twiggy" back in the '60s, and she reportedly was the world's first supermodel (Janice Dickinson, eat your heart out).

She had no hips, no curves, and she looked like several of her ribs were removed to look that absolutely skinny. She also had the "coked out look", which seemed to increase the trendiness both for women to be extremely skinny, and to use unnatural means to do so.

I have no problem with very slim women, since I've known quite a few who were very small-boned, but when you are that way by parental heritage, I don't have an issue. When you need narcotics to do so, and you look strung out doing so, then I believe this sets a very negative standard for the much younger women to follow, and follow this look and this method, some very much will.

That's why I'm very mad at Lindsay Lohan for all that weight loss. It looks extremely unnatural that everything on her has suddenly just been vacuumed up like someone stuck a pin insider her and completely deflated her. I suspect that drug use was done, but I don't have any facts. Either case, when I see the ultra-tiny starlets like Nicole Ritchie, Paris Hilton, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, I wonder, since these people aren't exactly making minimum wage, why don't they get themselves a good meal or two, and possibly visit a nutritionist and a physical trainer.

Oh, and going to a nice rehab clinic wouldn't be such a bad idea also. I have no idea why someone absolutely has to be so ultra-skinny. Lara Flynne Boyle is another one. Thank goodness for womanly hips and curves, like on Beyoncé, rather than grown women having pancake-flat bodies like 14-year-old boys.

What does she weigh, anyway? 110 or so? Can't be more than 115, max.

I'm not sure what the British laws are re narcotics. In the USA, if you do that, you'd better make sure that your parents have a good home, since otherwise, the state would take your child away. At least if the kid's with Grandma or Grandpa, then family is there.

I have no problem with her personally as a human being (other than as stated in my last post here), but since she hooked up with that druggie b/f, that seemed to have fueled more interest there. She could at least have tried setting a good example for her own child.

I guess that when you're filthy rich and make $20,000 or some other crazy fee per day, you can get away with lots, especially if you're a household name and on the A-List for celebrity parties, on the catwalk, magazine covers, etc.

Too bad all that money doesn't buy a $en$e of what is right and wrong, and how to conduct yourself in a manner that your child should be rightfully proud of.

Well, this is her first time being caught. Her second time, there should be consequences concerning her child. I am curious in knowing what is the British law in regards to child custody when drugs are involved. :o

Yeah, well after my friend (whom I thought I'd known) set me up with his friend and she had no curves, I thought I could make the most of it, but she was too tiny. When there's a 2:1 weight ratio, I'm not too crazy about that. 5:3, yes, but 2:1? Nope.

I've seen slim women, and some do at least have curves. See this link (http://www.joannakrupa.com/joannakrupa/joannaLatestnews/joannastuff_site.jpg) for a recent Stuff cover model.

I'll go with the other guys here that Lindsay looked great when she came out, but how everything on her has reduced, and looking like she'd been drained of bodily fluids, that looks to me to have been done unnaturally. I have no idea why there's this big need for women to look so emaciated. That's why I don't idolize the models too much. Yes, some have looked damned good, but I prefer a nice overall healthy figure, and some nice everything, not just some bones and boobs (which seem too popular now) doesn't work.

Still, people are fixated on super-skinny women, and they always say, "The camera will add 10 lbs to you". Meanwhile, the "women" are looking like defenseless little girls who can be controlled, which is often what the whole beauty industry reminds me of.

Since their cops don't carry guns, from what I've heard, I figure there must be other morals or something that they use which isn't exactly similar to over here.

Consider me biased, but I don't think it takes a genius to realize that if Mommy and/or Daddy are using nose candy, then they're not fit parents. Had she had an addiction and sought help, I could understand, but when you have a child, they learn from you and how they grow up is a reflection upon the adult.

I'm not sure what the UK's drug laws are re parents (finding the exact words to put into a search engine isn't an exact science), but here's something I found:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4229470.stm

http://www.addaction.org.uk/Drug_law.htm

http://www.jrf.org.uk/knowledge/findings/foundations/N70.asp

Seems a bit widespread down there. Then again, they could possibly think the same of us, particularly amongst the "glitter" around. Sometimes I wonder why they were called "the beautiful people" back in the Studio 54 days of the late Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager (still living).

My thoughts exactly. In the past I had to go to those alcohol training classes that anyone in the food and beverage industry had to attend to get a job (in certain states).

They instilled the fear of God in you that if you served or merely violated any alcohol laws, you'd be fired, fined heavily, and/or possibly go to jail and the establishment could lose their liquor license. But if Lohan shows up it's ok.

They must've forgotten about NY State, where if you're an A-List celeb, you can do whatever you please.

I can't remember her name ("Jennifer" something), but around 1985 or '86, there was some Jewish girl who was 18 and she was strangled by her 19-y.o. Irish boyfriend, and this was some Dorian's bar in the East 90s in Manhattan. A bunch of preppy kids they were called, even if they were college-aged.

The bar ended up pyaing the girl's family $100k or something. The term "rough sex" came into being, since that's what they did in Central Park, and he ended up strangling her.

Yeah, I was getting in at 19 also. The problem was, just about that time, NJ petitioned NY to change their drinking age to 21 from 18 or 19, since you'd have drunk NJ teens crossing the tunnel or bridge home from Manhattan bars.
