The Corporation and Bitches Brew announce a trade!

After trading away Shawn Green and Adam Dunn, the FO at Bitches Brew had begun looking for a replacement bat with some thump.

Kelvim Escobar's return from the DL last night prompted the Brew to send starting pitcher Rodrigo Lopez and closer Chin-Hui Tsao to The Corporation for slugger Pat Burrell.

Is Lopez for real? Can Burrell keep it up all year?

only time will tell.

In other news, Tsao's contract was immediately found in the dumpster behind The Corporation's headquarters.

he was one of those "players to be named later"... that were just in there to make me feel better about trading burrell... my team, once in 2nd place had plummeted to the nether regions of the league.. so I had to shake things up.. and I'm no expert or anything....

but an unexperienced closer playing in colorado was not going to help me any.

I feel I improved... I essentially traded Burrell for Lopez and Rondell white, who I believe will be a 20/90-100 man. After seeing lopez twice this year, I think he'll be special.
