So Mulder finally gets a win, Hudson goes 9 strong for a no decision, and word on the streets is Zach Duke will be up before the AllStar break. Things are looking up.

And for now, you're all looking up at ME. :D ;)

He is on the Barry Zito plan, allow 12 runs in your first two starts.
BigE,
Don't get to comfortable. The hurricane that is Joe Crede is heating up!
Oh, and btw, in case ya didn't know...
Derrek Lee is unstoppable!

Zito and Wood....a couple years ago, the top pitchers in the draft...now, WW fodder.

I had Zito last year...traded him for a bullpen catcher and some used jock straps. I think I got the better of the deal.

Luckily in the original league, there's a bench, and I could bypass Weaver as he starts in Colorado this week... :)

You've got to take the good with the bad!
Easy out option! :)
I agree. Like I said...luckily. Also luckily I have 6 SP, so I can switch one in and out on a weekly basis, depending on # of starts, or matchups. Last week I started Weaver, because he got 2 starts, this week I can bench him because his one start is in Colorado.
Also, it's a head-to-head league, which could be difficult w/o a bench.

Huge mistake calling the guy on his team a "diamond in the rough".
You need to be schooled in the finer arts of fantasy trade negotiation, Robby!

Was it?
Or was it a tactical maneuver?
Just testing the waters. ;)
BigE,
No Wade Miller for me!
Funny thing is, I thought he was referring to one of my minor leaguers.

Is minor league trading allowed?
I am willing to bet that it is...
Zach Duke is on fire and available!

I had very few hopes for my team this year, I started picking up all the young pitchers basically for next year (I liked my draft but not great imo), but now I'm in 2nd  and I no longer have the same direction, I'm now wondering aimlessly thinking to myself...hmm Oswalt, paid to much should trade, but I'm in 2nd and he's a good/great pitcher...Oi, I'm so freaking lost.

Andruw Jones is so bad he is untradeable...
Jones is now 0-for-26 over his past six games. After belting 10 home runs during a monster spring, this is certainly not what Fantasy owners expected after inching him up their cheat sheets. Be patient, though, as a serious hot streak is certainly around the corner.

If he goes 0-50, I am not sure how patient I can be.

That goes for everyone in the league. Wright may be the only player I'd be hesitant to part with. Santana is obviously quite expensive.

Just not sure if I want to let go of Andruw "sometimes I hit da ball, and sometimes I don't" Jones yet. He started like this last year and still hit 30.

Check my offer. I think I am good at first, with a young Prospect and Derrek "on Fire" Lee.

Must have something to do with that Colorado air.
I think he is hitting .700 for the week.
So far.
For $1, a .463 average with 4 Hr, 12 Rbi, 14 runs and 2 sb are a bargain already.

Brad Hawpe
.333 2HR 8RBI
Huston Street
1W 13K 4.32ERA
Hawpe is 3-3 so far today with 2 runs scored. Kid seems like money.

The Corporation gathered over the weekend for it's quarterly meeting and decided to drop the axe on Griffey Junior. The board has decided that Junior has reached a point in his career where he has absolutely zero value. The board then decided to pick up Carl everett to replace Junior's anemic offense, which is partially responsible for the Corporations team batting average to plummet to middle of the pack levels.
