(Sorry if this has been a post before.)

The '05 Sox remind of the '04 Yanks

Two top pitchers gone replaced by an older veteran with a creaky back from the NL East, and a young dinamic young arm.

Insanely good lineup with a pitching rotation with some questions.

Great pitcher with shoulder problems expected to join the team later in the season (Miller, Duque).

Did I miss any?

They are very similar; let's hope that the analogies extend to the postseason.

Ya, I'll take winning 101 games and having a chance to go the WS up 3-0.

Don't be dumb.

Don't be dumb.

How's that dumb? The team was the best in the AL during the regular season and came within a few outs of going to the WS. With any luck on their side, they would have. Do you not agree?

The '05 Red Sox couldn't play with the '04 Yankees.

Of course I agree, but I'm not insulting your intelligence by assuming that you knew that I was talking about the 04 Yankees losing to the Sox.
