The victorious Eagles - and every football fan in the Philly area - can prepare once again to hear the triumphant music from that movie during a huge celebration that's ready to flow through the city on Tuesday.
Yes, Tuesday. That's the unannounced day of the Super Bowl victory parade that's ready to flow from South Philly through Center City and to the foot of the Art Museum steps, the Daily News has learned.
Assuming the Birds win, the entire team of champions will roll up Broad Street in big open-topped buses, starting from Washington Avenue at 11 a.m. Tuesday. They'll carry their Super Bowl trophy with them.
...the parade will move up Broad, then around City Hall and west on the Ben Franklin Parkway . It will end with a program expected to include comments from coach Andy Reid, quarterback Donovan McNabb and others - and young Timmy Kelly's gutsy, game-winning rendition of the national anthem.
Planners apparently expect the program to end by 1:30 or 2 p.m. on a day that also happens to be Fat Tuesday - a day of celebration that's been quiet in Philly the last few years after a riotous night of flashing and trashing on South Street in 2001.
