Did any1 see Donovan Darius clothesline on Packers WR Robert Ferguson?
That was a vicius hit. Darius could've decapitated Ferguson with that lariat.

Yeah, that was brutal and it looked like he went out of his way there. Any word on any suspension for that hit??

Watching Monday Morning QB today, I agreed with what those guys said. They were saying that they thought Darius took a bad angle and put his arm out to make the tackle and try to get the ball out of the guys hands. He should get fined but I don't think it was done maliciously so I'd argue against a suspension.

Those Green Bay fans have class.
As he was being escorted off the field after being thrown out of the game, all GB fans did was boo him and maybe make a couple of gestures in his direction.
Not a single object was thrown on the field or at Darius.
Definitely a classy reaction by the fans.

That hit was completely over the line. Even his own teammates got on him about it.

Very good point. Just boo and heckle, but don't throw objects onto the field. The Pistons fans should watch that clip from Packer fans.

No suspension, but a $10,000 fine.

I noticed the same thing. Considering how that game was going for the fans they deserve a lot of credit for not throwing anything.
The punishment just got handed down. That hit cost Donovin Darius $75,000.

and no suspension? that's wrong..i don't care if he didn't have any prior offenses -- the league should send a message...

Admittedly, I saw the replay once on SC but c'mmoonnn........he took a vicious swing at the guy's head. He's lucky he didn't break the guy's neck. It's football, I know, I played.
That hit looked intentional and he should have been suspended IMO.

Looked to me like he took a bad angle and stuck his arm out so he could make the tackle.
