WEEK 12
Thursday, Nov. 25
Indianapolis at Detroit, 12:37 p.m.
It looks like the Lions will be looking for a new QB next year.
Colts 31-14

Chicago at Dallas, 4:35 p.m.
Has the Drew Henson era begun?
Cowboys 24-10

Sunday, Nov. 28
Cleveland at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m.
Don't be surprised if Butch Davis becomes the next Florida head coach.
Bengals 20-17

Jacksonville at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m.
That was a bad loss for the Jags at home to the Titans last week.
Vikings 27-24

Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants, 1:00 p.m.
The Eagles are overrated.
Giants 20-16

San Diego at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m.
Take the Chiefs out of the oven. They're done.
Chargers 30-23

Tampa Bay at Carolina, 1:00 p.m.
Carolina has looked like last years' version the last two weeks. However, a decimated team can only win so much.
Buccanneers 14-10

Tennessee at Houston, 1:00 p.m.
If the Texans don't win this game, they might not win again until 2005 - when they host the Browns Jan. 2.
Texans 24-14

Washington at Pittsburgh, 1:00 p.m.
This will be embarassing.
Steelers 24-0

New Orleans at Atlanta, 4:05 p.m.
Sure Michael Vick is fun to watch but he's a medicore passer.
Falcons 28-16

Baltimore at New England, 4:15 p.m.
Without Jamal Lewis, the Ravens will have a tough time in Foxboro.
Patriots 17-9

Buffalo at Seattle, 4:15 p.m.
The Bills did Seattle a huge favor by beating the Rams last week.
Seahwks 24-17

Miami at San Francisco, 4:15 p.m.
It's the Stupor Bowl. The "winner" gets the #1 pick.
Dolphins 20-10

N.Y. Jets at Arizona, 4:15 p.m.
This is another game the Jets cannot afford to lose.
Jets 17-13

Oakland at Denver, 8:30 p.m.
It's been a long season for the Raiders and their fans.
Broncos 27-14

Monday, Nov. 29
St. Louis at Green Bay, 9:00 p.m.
It seems nobody wants to win the NFC West.
Packers 38-24

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! :gulp:

1. :) I can't wait regardless of who starts, but if it is indeed Drew, then, other than the playoffs and games I've attended, I haven't been this excited about a game in YEARS.

2. I agree with your rationale, have since before the season began, and believe the Steelers exposed it for all to see... but, come on, this is ridiculous.

3. Heh. Hehe. Heheheheheheheh. :uhh: :O

Giants over Eagles? I beg to differ...but then again I thought NE would go down to KC Monday night...

Eli's going to take a beating this week...

Is Jamal Lewis definitely out against NE? That's the one game left that I think the Pats have a chance to lose, but if he's not there, there's no chance.

Oh, and Henson won't get past Chicago's D. Dallas might win, but they're not putting up 24 points.

Jets better not suffer a letdown. They must be wary of the Boldin/Fitzgerald combo. Not pretty.

Arizona is not a team I would want to be playing right now if I was a Jets fan. They're sneaky dangerous.

What's the latest word on Pennington, by the way?

Chad is going to start throwing this week. He started yesterday, I think. The earliest they said he could be back is 12/5, the latest 12/19.

Perfect description. Emmitt is running with new vigor, and like I mentioned, their WR weapons are just plain scary. Not a team to joke around with.

Shaun King is their starting QB. They're pretty bad. The Jets, unlike the Giants, will hand a loss to the Cards.

If the Jets lose to the Cardinals, they don't deserve to make the playoffs.

If they play like they did in Cleveland, it could be a bad day for the Jets. Zona can score points...

Well, though it was probably more their defense than anything else, he DID lead the Bucs to the NFC title game in the '99-'00 season. Can't be ALL bad.

well i dont know about that.....much like Dilfer in Baltimore in 2000....the Bucs won in spite of King....my lasting memory of King is his dreadful playoff performances that year

Ahh, the '99-'00 season. The year the Giants lost to the Ravens.

'00-'01. Talk about "I could not possibly care less." :) The season of which I spoke was the Rams over Titans year. :barf: 11-6 sure is a crappy way to lose an NFC Championship game.

Falcons 28-16

I have posted here that I believe that Vick is one of the most over-rated athletes of his generation, but, just as a starting pitcher's job is to give his team a chance to win, so it is with the QB. In Vick's case, he has done what it takes to get Atl. to 8-2. The ugly pasees are easily forgotten.

I don't know about any of y'all, but I wish I were getting this game right now! Both are wasting their limited point-scoring abilities on each other as we speak... 51-48 Cincinnati!

I heard that's the 2nd most points ever in a game. Is it the most pts ever scored by a losing team?

Nice D...

I can't find info on the record for most points scored by a losing team, but in the below record list, Houston scored 49 in a loss, so the 48 isn't a record.

Most Points, Both Teams, Game
Points Game/Date
113 Washington (72) vs NY Giants (41) 11/27/66
106 Cincinnatti (58) vs Cleveland (48) 11/28/04
101 Oakland (52) vs Houston (49) 12/22/63
99 Seattle (51) vs Kansas City (48) OT 11/27/83

Looking forward to seeing if today's 2nd half marks a turning point for the Pats. Obviously, the term barely applies here, but the D gelled, even in the absence of the cornerbacks (granted, the Ravens aren't the most prolific aerial attack), and the offense demonstrated an ability to just grind it on the ground, even against a very good defensive team.
