How/where would I find or calculate the ERA for a pitcher? Everywhere I look it give his ERA for the year, but not for a particular game. I'm mostly interested in what Pedro's ERA was for yesterday's game against us. Thanks for the help!

His ERA from yesterday was 14.4.
ERA is runs allowed per 9 innings.
Pedro pitched 5 innings and gave up 8 runs.
So, set an equation to determine how many runs he would have given up had he pitched 9 innings.

8 runs / 5 innings = x runs / 9 innings
x = 8 * 9 / 5 = 14.4 runs / 9 innings = 14.4 ERA
