Erik Coleman named Rookie of the week

Erik Coleman was the Jets 5th round draft pick and is looking real good. He got the game-sealing interception last week and pretty much took the safety job from Reggie Tongue in pre-season who was brought in to start this year. I'm hoping for big things from this rookie as he looks like the real deal.

that will suck....I would be surprised if they found a way to keep both (Im praying they do)

thats why I hate the NFL salary cap....you draft kids....you watch them grow for a few years....they improve....you develop a real good young nucleus (Pennington...Coles..Abraham..and Ellis) and then cuz of the cap....you have to let a few of them walk....same thing happened with Coles 2 years ago.....it penalizes a team that drafts good and develops players....

the NBA cap is the best.....you can go over it to keep your own players....but cant go over it to sign FA's....I wish the NFL was the same way

btw how about this Jets offense...we are racking up the yardage and points so far....with all the weapons we have...I dont see why this cant continue all season....and why this offense shouldnt be one of the best in the league
