The Lions won easily on Sat
afternoon, but the rest of the season won't be as easy. While I did see a great deal of improvement, such as more quickness and a tightness and precision that were missing last year, the poise that is needed to successful on this level is something only the future can tell. On the plus side the
tailbacks are good, the QB's played very well(4 QB's and 4 TB's played) the defense gave up a lot of short passes, that veteran receivers may turn into big gains. I don't want to bore anyone further, so 1-0 and on to
Boston College next Sat night.

Zach Mills was sharp, as was Michael Robinson. Tony Hunt and Austin Scott both went over 100 yards, but I still believe Scott has a greater future (OK, maybe I'm biased cause he's from the Lehigh Valley). Good game, and Robbie Gould was sharp as usual, although he missed the 38-yard field goal :)

Funny you should mention Gould.
It wasn't the 38 yd FG being missed that bothered me as much as the missed PAT. In fairness to Gould he did make the longer FG
with the better angle.
