The Seahawks came back with a nice drive of their own. 7-3 Pack temporarily behind...

Ugh!!! Ugly, ugly reverse call. Had to punt and that's probably it for the 1st team O.

Well, I DID hear as I was starting to cook dinner that he came to GB of all the teams that were interested in him because he wanted to study under Favre. Heck, if learning how to lob ill-advised passes off his back foot into triple coverage is all he wanted to learn, he shoulda come to my house and I coulda taught him THAT. ;)

Blah, blah, blah. What has he done lately but cost his team games in the postseason by his recklessness? :O That gunslinging attitude might have been cute in his earlier years, but he can't pull that off when it counts anymore.
(I feel like I'm arguing with my boyfriend on this. :p )

Ahman definitely had a HUGE part in it too. And he's going to be a huge reason that The Pack gets back to the Super Bowl this season, too. :gulp:

I'll drink to that. Just as long as Chad and the Jets rip 'em up before they can win it. :gulp:

Well, THAT would have to happen during the PreGame. I'm sure most of the Jets will have some decent seats. :D

Yea, yea, yea. I'd love to see Mr. Dreadlocks and Harris try to contain Santana and Justin. :gulp:

Final 21-3 Seahawks. Ugh! Well, at least the starting unit scored in their brief time in.
Man, I can't wait for the season to start. In the meantime though, thank God I'm a Yankee Fan!!! :gulp:

Damn, the TWELVE TIME CHAMPION Green Bay Packers don't have the New Jersey Jets on the regular season schedule this year.
When will the Jets get their own stadium? How long are they going to continue to play at their Big Brother's stadium in the swamplands of Jersey? Hey, will any Jet Icons embarrass themselves on National TV AGAIN this year?
The ONLY NFL Championship ever won by the Jets was FIXED for crying out loud!!!!! LMFFWAO!!!!!
GO PACK GO!!!

They're gettin' their stadium. Their success run will be long, the Jets are all youth. How's Fossil Favre doin'? Feelin' creaky yet? :smokin:

Nah Bro, I've been sending the man some Vicodin. He's gonna win his FOURTH MVP this year. That will match his #4. Irv will be smiling up there!

First pre-season game of the year, I'm not too worried about losing it. What did worry me was that the defense seemed to have trouble stopping the run all night long. The box score doesn't seem to indicate that but Mo Morris and Carter seemed to be getting some nice runs.
Favre and Green were good. No surprise there. Couch looked bad. He has a ways to go before he can be a starter in the West Coast offense. If things don't get straightened out with Mike McKenzie before the end of camp, the Packers are going to need to find another CB to play opposite Harris. I don't feel comfortable with Carroll starting. I wasn't overly impressed by B.J. Sander either. I'd like to see ex-Australian Rules Football star Nathan Chapman get a shot at the punting the job. He has similar background to Darren Bennett.
