This has probably been answered already but I was wondering if someone can tell me the criteria for a quality start....

Can't tell ya how many times I've had pitchers go 5.2 with 2 or 3 ER though...

That's gotta hurt. It just seems like an easily attainable number. Especially for NL pitchers.

What if you go 7 or 8 innings? How many runs then?
