And the Rangers take 4-2 lead off of Malaska and Williamson. WTG Sori on the 2b.

this is so weird looking at the standings because everything is backwards in the AL West from this time last year
This year its Texas first, next is Anaheim, Oakland, and then Seattle

Jeez, I saw a highlight of Sori hitting Pedro on "Baseball Tonight." Unbelieveable. The guy could barely hit Pedro when he played for us. What is going on with Soriano?

Really, you knew it? Looks just like Pedro is having trouble with the mighty Rangers. I wouldn't consider Arroyo's outing earlier today too bad...6 IP, 2 ER, and 3 hits.
You know it's not April anymore when...
Soriano had a nice RBI double. The whole crowd was chanting "Ped-Ro!". I loved it :).

Yep. I did. The Sox ran into two powerful teams who werent hitting at all (Toronto and Yankees) and rightfully took advantage. Their pitching staff experienced an abundance of good luck ( good hitters missing or fouling off blatant mistakes and leaving an enormous amount of men on base). However, the O's played you very tough as they were the only team in the AL East really hitting at the time. Good luck doesn't last forever.
RBI double for Young! 6-1 Rangers! :P
And here's Sori with a man on second and two out ... Go Sori, go Sori! :D
:D Sori works the count full ...
Sori grounded out, but Pedro is up to near 90 pitches, through four innings! :P

These Rangers are gonna be pretty damn tough this year.
Hey! Sori just got the Allstate Good Hands "play of the game" by turning a double play! He fielded Ortiz's grounder, tagged Mueller and threw to first to complete the DP.
And Manny Kd ... Rangers have three outs to go to sweep the double header! :P

8-2 Rangers still batting in the bottom of the 8th.
A two RBI double for Rod Barajas, and it is 8-2 Texas, in the bottom of the eighth! :D
Sori was a decent defensive player for the Yankees. His problem was that he would lose concentraton when he was struggling offensively.
:o Boston has first and second and no outs in the ninth!
It's now 8-3 as Sori dived but failed to come up with a ball ... two on and no outs.

Pedro is just playing the same game that the Sox front office is playing. They both use the media to curry favor with the public and make the other guy look bad.

Exactly, the Sox lose 2 after winning 6 is hardly the end of the season...especially when it happens on May 1.

I'll give you the fact that they knocked Pedro around, but considering they were unable to score more than 3 runs in any of the non-Pedro games I don't know how the O's showed weakness in the Sox pitching.

IMO Wakefield is their best pitcher, but he can be inconsistent and relies on a lot of luck. A few typical Wakefield walks and one or two hard hits tonight will spell a Sox sweep. Go Rangers!

Problem with Sox fans is that they are always underestimating mid-level teams and that will be their downfall. Sox may step up against the Yankees, but rest on their laurels against all the other teams and usually pay for it. Cleveland is going to suprise you.

First of all, I am not sure what this has to do with the Sox pitching - which was the topic of my quote. Second, I am not sure how Sox fans underestimating mid-level teams (though I am not sure how you know what Sox fans always do) would effect how the Red Sox as a team play. Unless you are saying that the players also underestimate those teams, what Sox fans do or don't do really has no relevance as to how the Red Sox will do against particular teams.
