I'm doing a project about sports heros of long ago for a class and I need pictures of Babe Ruth. Some of him when he was a kid or when he was a rookie and old ones especially. The other ones I already have.

I know you asked for early ones, but I particularly like this one... Ruth in a Boston Braves uni standing next to Gehrig, taken in Spring Training, 3/16/35. You can tell Lou's smile is forced and the two of them look very uncomfortable posing together.

Ruth goes turkey shooting! (At least that's what I think it is... I love the "candid" out of uniform publicity stuff he did the best... some of it is so amusing...)

I'd also recommend doing e-bay searches. You can come up with some pretty good copies/scans of obscure photos there, too.
