And it looks like Grandy got all of that one. Maybe he hit a car out on the freeway.

Nationals have signed him apparently:

The Nationals have agreed to terms with right-hander Chien-Ming Wang, a baseball source has confirmed to MLB.com. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

It rarely snows in October in Minneapolis, besides this years post season was behind the typical schedule because of the WBC.

roblyo33
02-16-10, 04:13 PM
Minneaopis & St. Paul aren't as snowy as a lot of people think. Average annual snowfall is 50", which is about the same as Hartford, CT - 49". The average temp for April in Minneapolis is 46.6F and New York City is 52.5F. No big difference there either. I will be going to see the Yanks and the Twins in May and am looking forward to seeing the new stadium.

BTW. Does anyone know how to download larger pictures on the threads? Everytime I download a picture it comes out really small like the picture of CG above. You posted an "attached image." Those can be from your computer or from the Internet, but they show as small thumbnails that you have to click to see full-size. But if an image is located on the Internet or you can upload it somewhere (a lot of people use Photobucket), you can just copy and paste the URL here, and surround it with [ img] [ /img] tags (without the space after the bracket). Or, copy the URL and come here and click the image button http://forums.nyyfans.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif, then paste the URL into the window that comes up.

Either way, you should be able to see the full-size pic in the thread.

Doesn't work in Just Conversation, though.

Still didn't give up Moose's #35. They gave Montero #83, but once he gets called up to the Bronx, I see them giving him #35.

Excited for Granderson with Yanks. He is going to have a big year, cabron. Power-wise: Bring comerica's right field wall in 20 feet. RC is 5 feet closer in YSIII. that is a lot less real estate!

maybe he can use "death valley" and get 20 triples again. that is crazy

I don't really have a sour taste...His beef was with the front office not the fans. He was very very successful here and brought me years as a Yankee fan I don't know if we will see again. He wasn't always treated fair by Big Stein but most managers weren't, I appreciate what he did for the team and the fans in the time he was manager here.

Doubt it. He's worn 45, 35, and 38 in the minors.

I don't think MiL numbers usually correlate to what a player wears in the majors. I think those are more given out based on what's available and what jersey fits the player.

I'm hoping he gets #12 myself - it's always been my favorite number, and I'd love to see Jesus freakin' Montero wear it. Plus, it and 11 are the lowest numbers available, and I think like Jeter getting the #2 jersey as a rookie back in 1996, Montero should be given a real low number.

That grip also tends to put some lateral movement on the ball so it dives down and out...any movement from Hughes would be a big help. Let's hope he gets some life on the FB
