Does anybody have, or know where I can find:

A good photo of John Ganzel (in a highlanders uniform)

Photo of Hinky Haines...in a NY Giants football uniform...

I'll look. What makes John Ganzel kind of special to you? He was a pretty darn good fielder in his time.

Nice. I'll really try in my looking out for another addition to your collection. Man ... some day I'd love the chance of seeing all that you have. It's truly a great collection and shows just how complete your true :ga-ga: is for all and anything involved with the complete Yankees' Franchise history. All I can add is WOW. :)

Thanks !!

At the time I was trying to get the Ganzel, A Jesse Tannehill became available. Wasn't able to swing for both but if a Chesbro becomes available, my wife better take my name off the mortgage because I will remortgage the house !!!

I also found the story of Haines very interesting as well. The only man to ever win a professional championship in baseball and football. He played only one season of professional baseball-1923...the very first NY Yankees championship and although he was just used as a defensive replacement and pinch unner, scored a run in the WS and was the centerfielder when the Yankees recorded the last out of the '23 WS...

In the field he had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 17 chances.

He then goes on to win the footballl championship in 1927...with the NY Giants football team, their very first championship...How unusual...

Not quite what you want, but here's one of Ganzel as a manager in Rochester.

And here's one of Haines as a Football Giant.

Here's one of them playing; I believe Haines is the one with the ball.
