Day of tickets?

Hello, i'm looking to go to my first Yankees/Sox game ever on my last trip to the stadium, but unfortunately prices are soaring through the roof on Craigslist/ebay. I'm wondering if anyone has tried (and succeeded) at getting tickets to a Yanks/Sox game via the ticket office the day of. Is finding 4 tickets too much to hope for? Thanks so much!

I believe the limit is 2 when people order them online to those games, so I would say yes that 4 is too much to ask for. Your best bet is one of those sites like stubhub. I wouldn't expect anything the day of the game, but it's worth a shot if the drive isn't too far for you.

I got 3 tickets the day of a Mets/Yankees game about 30 minutes before it started ($80/each). Never had a problem finding them other times either.
