We were in the upper deck, but still was able to flash a few pictures... my mom flashed the in-game shots, I was too busy watching the game, bless her heart. Anyway, here's just a few shots for those interested....

The all familiar water at Kauffman... I should have got a shot of it at night... looks great when they light it up between innings... I'll try to snap one tonight.

Awesome pics! Kaufman is such a great stadium. Too bad their owners don't belly up and put a better team on the field for their fans.

Super pics, last night during the game Girardi & Singleton were talking about how a restuarant is going to be built in LF and they are putting in bleacher seats in the OF.

The Hy-Vee signs bring back memories. It is a MUCH more comfortable stadium without the Astroturf. I recall games there in mid-July where you basically par-boiled in Row 3 seats and could feel the heat roiling off the turf. The joke was always that you needed to bring along a bulb baster so you could baste yourself in your own juices.

I remember when the turf was there the grounds crew used to hose the fans down on the hot summer days.

Great pictures TheYankee. I just changed my desktop background to the watershot pictureFor being one of the older parks, it really is a pretty one. Of course you expect the new age stadiums to look great, but the "K" has been around for a bit, so it always impresses me how nice it looks.

The Royals cant even fill 50% of the stadium so why do they need more seats? :dunno:

Probably so the owner can cry that attendance is down and want more revenue money from the Yanks.

Great photos and Kauffman Stadium such a beautiful baseball stadium. Amazingly even though it's only 34 years old it is now the ninth oldest baseball stadium in MLB..... and it still looks great.

There are lots of water fountains at Yankee Stadium, but the water that comes out is brown and smells real bad! :D

You can usually find the camera make and model in the image header. These appear to have been taken with a "Nikon E8800", which I think is the Nikon Coolpix 8800: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/nikon8800.html
