It's a solid article. What do we think he meant by "I do have an answer, but I can't tell you what it is. . . . I do think we know at least some small things that not everybody in the world knows" to the question, what is some conventional wisdom that isn't true.

I take that to mean he thinks he's found some obscure but meaningful correlation between two sets of numbers that others may not have picked up on yet and that the Sox can use to their advantage in evaluating talent (or something similar). I can't imagine it's anything earthshaking ... but small advantages add up, so I can understand him not wanting to talk about it.
