Atleast they found someone willing to take that job. Pretty embarassing when two position coaches (one from a college team) turn you down.

What a sad organization. How does a college coordinator get to skip the natural progression of being either a college head coach or NFL assistant and become an NFL head coach? Guys like Charlie Weis & Ron Rivera fight tooth & nail for a job like this after years of being excellant NFL coordinators. Their penalty is that that they help their teams excel in the playoffs. Good for the Raider haters. This team is going nowhere.

Not a Raiders fan but I don't understand this move at all.

Most SC fans love to bash the hell out of kiffin, but I think the guy will eventually become a great OC and he's already an awesome recruiter but how he landed an NFL HC job at 31 with virtually no expierence is something i will never grasp.
